I know this symbol here is not rocket science on how it can build rapport with other people while connecting with them.
Normally this is used either when you respect someone or you have connected with them some way, as well as gaining some value from the content itself.
How does it feel when someone likes your post? The result is a positive emotional feeling. You get acknowledged by them and you feel more happier. So the next time you want to make someone happy, like their post more so they feel more happier. Whether it is on hashtag#LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc. Your relationships with others digitally and as well in person will be a positive one. See the magic yourself.
